Hi lovely readers,
Welcome to my first ever The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer.
I launched my blog this past week and it was such a thrill. I had written posts in advance, so it was rewarding to see my first few go live just as scheduled. Thankfully, it all went very smoothly. 😊 While I don't have a set posting routine yet, I think I'm going to let things unfold organically for now.
Blogging has been a fun creative outlet already for me. I look forward to developing my voice, discovering new reads, and connecting with all of you along the way. One goal I have is to regularly visit and comment on other blogs, since this amazing book blogging community inspired me to start my own. I have to figure out where to fit that into my daily schedule. If only work wasn't a hindrance ...
Speaking of work, I have finally met a coworker who reads books and she is currently binge-reading the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Maas. We spoke about our reading tastes and I could not help myself from giving her some recommendations. 😉 It's so exciting to meet someone IRL who loves books just as much you!
Welcome to the blogging community!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Bride yet but the hype is real!
Thank you, Emma! I thought Bride lived up to the hype. :D
DeleteCongratulations on the successful start of your blogging career - talking about books with other enthusiasts is just so much fun. I need to get hold of a copy of Bride - it looks really good. Have a great week, Enn.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I hope you like Bride as much as I did!
DeleteWelcome to the blogosphere! Your blog is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, AJ! I bought the template off of Etsy and designed the header myself, so this is a great compliment. :)
DeleteWelcome! Your blog is beautiful! Good luck with it. Enjoy your books! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Yvonne! :)
DeleteWhen I started my book blog almost 3 years ago, I did all the memes! It was a great way to "meet" other bloggers and find my community. Now, I only do the ones I truly love and have time for ;) I love that you are not rushing or pushing things. Have a great week! ReplyDeleteI'm only doing The Sunday Post and Top Ten Tuesday because they appealed to me the most. It could definitely get very overwhelming if I tried to do everything. Thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement, Cindy!
DeleteWelcome to book blogging it can be an amazing ride. I would recommend just letting things work out when i first started i had a full time job and tried to do all the things to stand out. I quickly realized that wasn’t going to work. I switched to a self hosted blog when i got tried of blogger constantly taking down my posts. I been quite happy with word press since then. I tweaked things over the years and i don’t do a lot of memes there just not my style but i started the weekly wrap up this year and i have enjoyed having all my weekly info in one spot for my readers who may not have time to stop by. I also started using the bookly app and including book graphics from that app in my post. I read Fragile Enchament this past week as fairy loot was doing it as a read along this week. I would of lked less romance and more magic so it was a 3 star read for me. Have a great week hope to see you around the blogsphere.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all the advice, Jan! I will definitely try to go with the flow and not over-exert myself. I never want this to feel like yet another chore. :)
DeleteGood to know about Fragile Enchantment! I will try to manage my expectations about the magic. Thank you so much!
Glad to hear your first week went well, and I think your approach to blogging sounds like a good one. I hope to get an ARC of the Hazelwood book. My daughter always reads and reviews those - she's a big Hazelwood fan and I love having her post to the blog. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet that your daughter likes to talk about Hazelwood books on the blog. I have my fingers crossed you get approved asap!
DeleteOh, this is so exciting! Welcome to the book blogging community and congratulations on starting your new blog! It looks gorgeous and so well done! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and share our love of books!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Haze! I look forward to getting to know you too. :)
DeleteWelcome to the blog community! Hope you get to talk about books to your heart's content!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post
Rabbit Ears Book Blog: WORLD’S WEIRDEST BOOK BLOG!
Thank you, Ronyell! I am excited to do just that. :)
DeleteNice to see you, Enn! And welcome to the book blogger community. :) Hooray for meeting a fellow reader at work. Always fun to have that bookworm connection IRL. I've seen so many raves for Bride. Have a great week!
